The Mohr’s story. It was such a beautiful and eventful day from start to finish. We got ready with Melissa and her bridesmaids at her home. The dresses were hung up, the make up artists and hair stylists were working away & the minutes flew by as we waited for the limo to arrive. While Melissa went to put her dress on with the help from her bridesmaids, they actually got LOCKED in the bedroom they were in and it was an entire process to get them out. While we totally laugh about it now, it was mildly stressful in the moment (as you can imagine). But everyone remained chill and finally they got out of that door. Soon after, it was time to head to the ceremony and reception site. This was located at Frank’s childhood home, farmland tucked outside of Kutztown. They worked on the barns leading up to the wedding and did some mild renovations to the place and it looked STUNNING. The ceremony was set up outside in a field with hay bales & a beautiful arbor, but just minutes before the ceremony time, it started to pour. Everyone grabbed their umbrellas & made their way to coverage in the barn where the reception would be held. Melissa & Frank made the decision to move things indoors, and man do they have quite the support group & seriously amazing friends. The bridal party & guests did not hesitate to go out into the rain and grab all of the necessary things from the original ceremony site and created a new indoor one in just a few minutes. It was so, so beautiful. Then the tears began to flow as the ceremony music began and the bridal party started lining up next to Frank as they awaited Melissa’s walk down the aisle. Everything about this day was so memorable & gorgeous, I was so happy to be apart of it all. The reception was a blast & the newlyweds partied all night long, celebrating their love. Cheers to many, many MOHR years! Xo
