Lexie & Austin

Right before their little man was born, we got together for their maternity session and it was GORGEOUS. The weather was looking a bit iffy and this was an early morning session, so I asked Lexie how she was feeling about it. I said I was down since it wasn’t actually raining at the time, and she said she was good for our session as well!… and I am so glad we weren’t quick to reschedule because this lighting was just impeccable! Of course in the beginning of our shoot it did indeed start to drizzle, but since we were under the coverage from the trees we barely felt it & then we had this glowy haze in the background which just melted me. And then the rain stopped so we could walk around Lockridge and finish up our session. Lex did a quick outfit change and we grabbed the ultrasound photos and wrapped up without any more rain. I always have so much fun with this couple because they are unapologetically themselves and they love messing around with each other. They are playful & have so much fun and they quite clearly adore one another. I was so excited during this maternity shoot to see them be parents together, and now their son is a month old and they are crushin’ it as parents. I love seeing them grow together.
