This couple’s portrait session is unlike any other… This session was a surprise for Jessica! She had no idea going into her day that she was going to be having an entire photo shoot with her husband. Let me take you back to a few days before their 5th wedding anniversary. I get a phone call from Anthony asking if I would be available this weekend because he had an entire day planned for his wife and she knew nothing about the day yet. She knew they were celebrating their anniversary, but nothing more. He booked a hotel room at the hotel they stayed at after their wedding and had champagne & flowers delivered to the room. After a few glasses of champagne he said to his wife, let’s go check out our wedding venue (The Bank Street Annex) and walk around the cute alleyways of Easton. They did, and there I was waiting for them. Minding my own business because I wasn’t sure when was safe to approach them (hahah) I let Anthony come up to me and he basically asked me (like I was a stranger) if I would be willing to “recreate a few of their wedding photos with them”. I played along & said absolutely I would love nothing more! And the excitement on Jessica’s face was everything! She then felt bad for ‘taking up my time’ and told me I didn’t have to actually take their photos. And that was the perfect time to fill her in that I was their surprise photographer and that we actually do have a portrait session planned for them. The whole time we walked around taking the cutest anniversary photos, Jessica kept saying “You did so good!” to Anthony and she was just so excited. And honestly, she was beaming with happiness and had such a gorgeous glow to her. You can see for yourself in these photos we took. Happiest anniversary to the sweetest couple, and cheers to many many more! Xo
